A definite conversation starter for the set dinner table. These little rests are placed on the side of the plate to rest your chopsticks upon to prevent stains on the table or tablecloth. Of course it can also be used for a fork, knife, or as a what we in Sweden call "smörtax", a butter knife rest. This piece is crafted in a very light smooth stoneware clay, and finished with a textured white crawl glaze which is made from scratch in the studio using an array of different raw materials.
