Citrus juicer - Fog

Just as nice to use as it is on a shelf in your kitchen. This citrus juicer is crafted in several steps using multiple different techniques- the base bowl is thrown on the wheel, and then has the cone attached and spout shaped. After being allowed to dry out for a bit, the piece is trimmed and gets its handle attached before drying out completely and being bisque fired, glazed and then fired again. 

The juicer works well for both smaller and larger citrus fruit. This piece is crafted in an smooth iron rich clay body, and is finished with a soothing matte light grey glaze. The glaze I have developed myself, and it is mixed in the studio from scratch using an array of different raw materials.
