Charcuterie board small - Drippy freckled beige
This is a serving board that enables you to serve cheese and charcuterie in style. This smaller size works great for 1-2 cheeses. It’s created using the slab technique, which means the clay is rolled out and shaped. The board is crafted in a sandy beige speckled clay and finished by hand pouring a matte beige speckled glaze with lots of interesting variations that give the piece personality. The piece has a black strap made out of cork leather for hanging. The strap is finished with a Lark’s head knot and a Matthew Walker knot on top. Read more about cork leather below.
Please note that this glaze varies in appearance from product to product, refer to the images for an idea of the spectrum of finishes. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions or if you wish to see the product in stock at the moment.

Cork leather
Cork leather is a plant based material used in place of leather, and is loved for its leather like properties. It comes from the bark of the cork oak tree. When harvesting the bark, the tree takes no damage. Cork leather will get softer when you use it over time, and withstands water better than traditional leather. The cork used for this product comes from Portugal.
