Fluted cup - Creamy beige

This cup adds an element of tactility to every coffee or tea break. The tall form is thrown on the wheel before being trimmed and finally carved by hand all around. The cup is finished with a matte glaze that allows the ridges to shine through and contrast. The clay used for this cup contains lava flecks that also show through the glaze, giving even more detail to the piece. The glaze I have developed myself, and it is mixed in the studio from scratch from raw materials.
